L.OV.E

Within the past year I've drawn a strong interest in photography. I had the honor and pleasure of taking my best-friends' engagement pictures this past fall. Although I'm not a professional yet, I'm perfecting my craft every opportunity I receive. Here's a few of the priceless moments I captured.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

 Love never fails

MY BIRTHDAY :)

On May 1 a star was born lol... I went to the Alhambra Palace to celebrate my 24th birthday with a few of my close friends. I had a BLAST I must say!!! The food was fantastic and the decorum was beautiful. What better way to celebrate a birthday then with those you love the most!

The Leather Skirt

I know it has been awhile since I've posted an outfit and I'm so sorry to my faithful followers! I've been wanting a leather skirt since I've begun my blogging journey and I stumbled upon this beauty at a thrift store called Savers. It originally was long with a split in the back. I took it to get a few alterations and here are the end results, enjoy!

Get Me Bodied

All women would like to change something about their bodies! Whether it's a big butt, thick thighs, or a smaller stomach. With a few tricks those trouble areas can fade away with the blink of an eye.

By buying a new bra, and one that actually fits can work miracles! Wearing a bra that doesn't fit properly doesn't help your body image. I recently brought a new bra from Victoria Secret and I felt like a kid in a candy store lol.. Bra shopping can definitely be something dreadful, but at Victoria Secret they offer FREE fitting and assist with finding the perfect style for your size. Having the right bra will give more room between your waistline and chest, which will elongate your torso. This will also create the illusion of you being longer.

Investing in a shapewear is one of the best investment a girl could ever make! Shapewear's help hold and get rid of any rolls, leaving you with a smoother look. There are tons of brands that guarantee dramatic results some of them being Spanx, Hourglass Angel, and Dr. Rey Shapewear to name a few.  You can purchase all types for different problem areas for example, full body suit, mid-thigh bodysuit, high waisted, high leg brief and many more! They are not only good for your shape, but your  posture as well!

Scarves around your neck tied loosely with the vertical ends laying long down your body creates an illusion of being longer as well.

Wearing an oversized handbag helps with proportion! Be mindful the bag doesn't land near your problem area. It would just draw attention to them. For example, if you have a big belly don't allow the bag to land at your waist, it will immediately draw the eye directly to your stomach.

  • Blazers and cardigans unbuttoned are very flattering.
  • Stretching Fabrics are your FRIEND as long as they are not too tight or too baggy.
  • Turtle necks and button up shirts are FIERCE

HIGH HEELS are BOMB.COM!!! Lol. Stilettos that measure between 2 1/2 to 4 inches will lengthen your legs for pure sleekness. Wearing nude heels create an illusion of longer and leaner legs. There are nude heels in all different shades to match your skin tone.

There are several tricks to looking longer and leaner-definitely take advantage of them! These are things that can be done for all women regardless to your size. I know it can be difficult and very discouraging starting a workout routine, but by making small changes such as your eating habits. Start by including more fruits and vegetables, cutting back on sweets, soda/pop and consuming smaller portions of fried foods will make a great start!
